Charlize Theron isn’t holding back when it comes to her thoughts on men’s dating app profiles.
Appearing on the latest episode of Call Her Daddy, The Old Guard 2 star sounded off on the cringe-worthy things she sees while swiping—calling dating apps “horrible” and a total “clown show.”
“I’m sorry guys but please no. No,” she said. “Honestly, not because I want to date you, but because I want to help you.”
Theron then broke down her biggest icks:
“No Burning Man photos,” she warned. “No photos of you with other women. Like, I don’t care. I don’t want to know that you have girlfriends. And I don’t want you shooting a fucking selfie in your closet of your hand in a jean pocket.”
The Oscar winner didn’t sugarcoat it—these profiles don’t just miss the mark, they shut things down completely.
Charlize Theron kept it brutally real about what turns her off on dating apps—and it’s not the age or the bio, it’s the mirror selfies and fake CEO titles.
“I don’t want men to look at themselves in a mirror that way,” she said. “It makes my vagina close. I just can’t.”
She didn’t stop there. Theron called out guys who claim to be CEOs without any real substance behind it. “Like, I’m sorry. Of what?” she asked. “Of some business you can’t explain to me that none of my friends can understand?”
Calling out the fakery, she didn’t mince words: “Men who embellish their lifestyle are a fucking joke.” What actually works? Honesty. “I get wet when you just tell me who you are. Don’t be pretentious, I’m sorry,” she added.
Theron also spilled a little tea about her own dating life, revealing she once had a hookup with a 26-year-old—and described the experience as “fucking amazing.”
