Ray J Says Diddy ‘Should Have Been Cleared’ of All Charges

Ray J is standing firm in his support of Diddy following the mogul’s recent trial verdict.

Speaking with TMZ after Wednesday’s decision, Ray J expressed relief over the dropped sex trafficking and racketeering charges—but insisted Diddy should’ve been cleared entirely.

“Yes, the big charges got dropped,” he said. “No, [Diddy] should have been cleared of all things—everything that was on the paper.”

Ray J also believed Diddy would be granted bail and head home. “I really think he’s gonna get out today, he should get out today on bail,” he added. “I just feel like he’s coming home, he’s going to Miami.”

But that didn’t happen—Judge Arun Subramanian denied bail, ordering Diddy to remain in custody until his sentencing, scheduled for October.

Ray J told TMZ he spent the day celebrating by playing Diddy’s music “all day.”

Back in May, Ray J voiced a similar prediction on Piers Morgan Uncovered, saying, “I honestly think that Diddy will get out, and there’s nothing here. I think they made their point. Whatever they were trying to make, your point is made. Now let Diddy out. Free Diddy!”
