Following his recent split from Blac Chyna, music producer Derrick Milano opened up about his current emotional state and personal growth journey.
On Wednesday morning, the Love and Hip Hop: Miami star took to his Instagram Story to share how he’s really been feeling after the end of his engagement to Chyna, whose real name is Angela White. The pair had been together for nearly two years and got engaged last October.
“Everybody be asking if I’m good,” Milano wrote. “NO I’m not & this has nothing to do with my RELATIONSHIP.”
He went on to explain that he’s been so focused on helping others chase their dreams, careers, and goals that he forgot to pour into himself. Now, he’s shifting that energy toward rediscovering his true worth.

“I’m tired, I’m tired of being misused and taken advantage of,” Derrick Milano shared in a heartfelt post. “There’s not too many genuine people who move with the same intentions and heart I have. But it’s all good.”
He wrapped up his message by assuring fans he’ll bounce back, but for now, he’s focusing on “rest, self-reflection, and getting my mental right.”
“So I know how to move forward in a world where being the good guy puts you in some of the darkest places,” he added. “Like I said prior, NO, I’m not good but I will be.”
Blac Chyna and Milano officially ended their engagement in a joint statement last Friday (July 4), making it clear that while they’ve gone their separate ways, they still “love each other deeply and are good friends.”
