Nicki Minaj is calling out those who mocked her over the infamous “cousin’s balls” claim.
“Democrats attacked me over my cousin’s balls. Remember?” she posted on X Tuesday, July 8, as part of a fiery string of tweets targeting Megan Thee Stallion, Jay-Z, and Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez.
Nicki Minaj kept the heat coming on X, questioning political loyalty and taking aim at Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez.
“Let’s see if they have any thoughts on that DESIRAT pardon,” she wrote. “Let’s see if they have any thoughts on brother billionaire never campaigning for Kamala even after Obama pleaded with the ‘brothers.’ Isn’t this THEE ‘brother’?!??!! Thee one ‘brother’ who could’ve probably gotten the job done for yall?!?!!!!”
She wrapped it up with a jab that circled back to her viral tweet: “Welp. If the top brother in charge can leave yall hanging w/o repercussions then may everyone else leave you hanging as well. Hanging like my cousin’s friend’s balls .”
Minaj also threw in a cryptic accusation, claiming funds were taken from her tour. “I hope the money stolen from my tour was hidden really well. I’d hate for there to be money laundering, embezzlement, etc.,” she wrote, posting a photo of a Chucky doll alongside it.
So, what’s the deal with Nicki Minaj’s cousin’s friend’s balls? She’s throwing it back to her viral 2021 tweet where she claimed her cousin’s friend in Trinidad suffered swollen testicles and impotence after getting the COVID-19 vaccine.
“They want you to get vaccinated for the Met. If I get vaccinated it won’t be for the Met,” she wrote at the time. “It’ll be once I feel I’ve done enough research… My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding.”
The tweet quickly went viral, drawing reactions from across the globe — even from Dr. Anthony Fauci, who debunked the claim, and Trinidad and Tobago’s Health Minister, who said they wasted time investigating something with zero evidence.
Now, years later, Minaj is still doubling down on the infamous moment, using it to shade her critics in her latest tirade against Jay-Z, Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez, and others. Her beef with Jay seems to have reignited last September after Kendrick Lamar was tapped for the Super Bowl LIX halftime show instead of Lil Wayne.
“Denying a young black man what he rightfully put into this game for no other reason but your ego,” she wrote at the time. “Your hatred for BIRDMAN, Drake & Nicki got you punishing Lil Wayne?!?!!! LIL WAYNE!!!!!! THE GOAT ?!!!!!!!”
As for Perez, Minaj didn’t hold back either. She threatened to expose the Roc Nation CEO for allegedly firing people without reason and accused her of trying to replace her.
“So many ppl were blind sighted & hurt by her. Allegedly. She’s willing to go broke to try to replace me…? Fix it JESUS. #GoodFoot,” Minaj wrote.
