Watch Drake Light Up Wireless Fest Day 1 with Surprise Guests Lauryn Hill, Giveon, Bryson Tiller & More

Drake wrapped up night one of his headlining set at London’s Wireless Festival with a major surprise—bringing out the legendary Lauryn Hill.

On Friday night, the iconic songstress joined Drake on stage for a powerful performance of “Nice for What,” which famously samples her 1998 classic “Ex-Factor.” But the guest appearances didn’t stop there—Drake also brought out Giveon, Bryson Tiller, Mario, and Bobby Valentino, making it a stacked night of R&B star power.

For this year’s set, Drake gave streamers like Adin Ross the green light to broadcast live from the show, leading to a string of viral moments—including one where streamer Bendadonnn looked stunned as Lauryn Hill casually walked right past him.

The performance comes as Drake rides the momentum of his latest single, “What Did I Miss?,” which serves as the lead track for his upcoming album Iceman. Earlier this month, he debuted the song during his Iceman Episode 1 livestream, where he also previewed several unreleased tracks rumored to appear on the project.

While there’s still no official release date, Drake has teased a 2025 drop on Instagram. In a heartfelt message to fans about what’s coming next, he shared, “I understand that this next chapter may leave you feeling uneasy, but I hope you see my honesty as clarity not charity.”
