“Come to Coulda Been” may clock in at just under a minute and a half, but Druski and Lil Yachty still manage to cram a punch into the short-and-sweet track.
Produced by BNYX, the song kicks off with Yachty laying out the stakes for the new season of Druski’s Coulda Been House—“$50,000 on the line”—before warning listeners not to fumble the bag and end up in the dreaded “coulda did” zone by missing out on a golden opportunity.
What Druski brings to the track will likely be familiar to fans, playful Opium impressions and all.
“Come to Coulda Been” is out now on Apple Music, Spotify, and all major platforms. The track doubles as the official theme song for the second season of Coulda Been House, which premieres July 17 at 9:00 p.m. ET on Druski’s YouTube channel.
“We’re taking Coulda Been House to the next level,” Druski said in a statement shared with Complex. The comedian, who was recently announced as the host of the golf-themed Truth or Putt, added, “We have a bigger house, wilder artists, and new special guests. This season is definitely going to be extreme, but the competition and pressure will be all worth it for the winner to sign with Coulda Been Records and cash that $50,000 check thanks to Raising Cane’s.”
Lil Yachty is set to make a guest appearance this season, alongside Ray J and Chocolate Droppa—comedian Kevin Hart’s rap alter ego. For those unfamiliar, Chocolate Droppa made waves earlier this year with a performance on NPR’s Tiny Desk series, dropping bars on a perfectly timed appearance.
Druski’s been on an absolute tear lately. Just last week, he popped up multiple times on Justin Bieber’s surprise album SWAG, including a standout moment in the “Therapy Session” skit.
