Nicki Minaj isn’t letting up on SZA, continuing her online tirade with a fresh wave of posts on Tuesday (July 15).
“Wait. Does Sza think she’s more successful than me? Lol yall catch me up pls. Sza if every song you’ve ever done vanished right now the music business wouldn’t even miss you,” Nicki wrote on X. “I’ve been to countries that never heard of you. I know you’re not THAT stupid are you? Stadiums? Did you look at the venues I played on my OWN headlined FESTIVAL tour out of the country last year? Bitch have you ever headlined to 80K ppl?”
Nicki Minaj escalated her attacks on SZA with even harsher words in a string of new posts.
“Btch what have you ever done besides yodel with auto tune that needed retuning? Boo I’m an icon. You’re not. The end,” Minaj wrote. “Pay that man for almost breaking his back. Why didn’t u speak up when your exec was bullying & harassing me ya dirty mangy cunt?”
Minaj also accused SZA of using bots to boost her streaming numbers on platforms like Spotify.
“These botted numbers on all platforms have yall losing yall mother fkng minds,” she claimed. “You the type that would’ve been quiet in school trying to fit in. You still have no clue who you are! I know you went nights w/o washing that musty face. Btch how u remember exactly where every freckle go?”
Nicki Minaj took her feud with SZA even further during a livestream on her Stationhead account.
“I don’t know one of your motherfucking songs. Not one, bitch,” she said bluntly on the stream.
“Listen, MZA… I said find you some motherfucking else body to play with, bitch. You already played with your own, hoe, and we see how that went, bitch. And, you know, I don’t surgical shame or body shame, you know I don’t even do that,” she added. “But bitch, I don’t know if you fat, obese, chubby or skinny, you see, and so now I got to call Dr. Now to make me figure out what the fuck has been going on here. Bitch, because what retrograde were you in, ma’am? You see what happens when you’re so thirsty to be stupid and motherfucking corny?”
Minaj also brought up a set of alleged past tweets, claiming SZA had previously taken shots at artists like Rihanna, Ciara, and Beyoncé.
“You took to your Twitter during those times to downgrade and downplay the top Black women, the top Black women in their respective fields at the time. So that tells me a lot about you,” Nicki Minaj said during her Stationhead livestream.
She continued, “So instead of you coming on Twitter to give props to the top Black women in your field at that time, to the women who you later worked with, so I guess they weren’t that bad after all, huh? You were just one of the kids that couldn’t get in the crowd at the in-crowd, huh?”
Meanwhile, SZA has been open about her past cosmetic surgery. In a 2023 interview with British Vogue, she admitted that while she liked the results of her BBL, she later felt the procedure “wasn’t necessary.” The recovery process left her immobile, caused unexpected weight gain, and ultimately made her realize she could’ve done without it.
She also told Elle the same year that getting a BBL wasn’t about industry pressure but something she did for herself. “I always wanted a really fat ass with less gym time,” she said, comparing the surgery to a purse—simply an enhancement. SZA also underwent breast augmentation but later had the implants removed due to complications and her family’s history with breast cancer.
