Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson made their red carpet debut at the inaugural gala for her Pete & Thomas Foundation in New York City on Wednesday.
In an exclusive chat with Page Six, Megan Thee Stallion gushed over Klay Thompson, calling him a “nice person” who truly makes her happy.
“I have never dated somebody so kind,” she shared. “This is my first relationship where I’ve ever been with somebody who’s genuinely a nice person, and he makes me genuinely happy.”
She went on to say, “I just never dated somebody like him before and I’m just grateful that he’s here by my side and he feels the same way about me.”
The couple made things official on Instagram last week when Klay Thompson shared a photo of himself kissing Megan Thee Stallion. It came shortly after Megan teased their romance with a soft launch—posting pics where Klay could be spotted chilling by the pool in the background.
Since going public, Megan also shared a playful TikTok video where she unboxed her Labubu collection while sitting comfortably on Klay’s lap.
While Thompson made a more public appearance at tonight’s gala, Megan was equally thrilled to be handed a Labubu by a fan waiting outside the venue.
