Nicki Minaj is demanding proof of SZA’s age after days of firing shots at the singer-songwriter online.
On Wednesday (July 16), after Nicki labeled her a “fake girl’s girl,” SZA fired back by sharing a message that allegedly showed Minaj trying to request a collab through a third party.
That move didn’t sit well with Nicki, who responded the next day (July 17) with a string of posts on X mocking the situation and dragging both SZA and TDE president Terrence “Punch” Henderson into the mix.

Nicki Minaj kept the jabs coming with a series of posts aimed at SZA, including one she reshared that featured a t-shirt printed with a satirical message:
“Hey it’s Nicki. Minaj? No. The knickerbockers. We’d like to know if when you play basketball if your freckles wipe off when you sweat. Otherwise we’d like to offer you a once in a lifetime chance to play for the NEW YORK KNICKS.”
In another post, Minaj referred to SZA as “the lady that sang on Black Panther” and mocked her by saying she “used to sing in English”—a reference to SZA’s 2018 Black Panther collaboration “All the Stars” with Kendrick Lamar.
Minaj then doubled down on the age claims, saying, “And she’s in her mid 40s right? If not I need to see her [birth] certificate.”
She wrapped the string of posts with, “Yall know she lies chi,” keeping the drama alive online.

SZA, who is 35, has yet to respond to Nicki Minaj’s latest wave of posts—but that hasn’t stopped Minaj from going off. Throughout her online tirade, the rapper has taken shots at SZA, calling her “ugly” and an “odd little weirdo.”
The tension first sparked on Tuesday (July 15) when SZA was rumored to have called Minaj a “silly goose” in response to what seemed like a dig at TDE president Punch. Since then, Minaj has kept the drama going with nonstop posts and even took the jabs to her Queen Radio platform, throwing more shade at the “Snooze” singer.
