Christina Aguilera turned heads at the West End premiere of Burlesque: The Musical on Monday, July 21, in London, rocking a bold vintage Versace look.
As executive producer of the musical, Aguilera stepped out in a strappy green Versace dress, complete with dramatic dark lipstick, sleek black knee-high boots, and her signature platinum blonde locks.
It wasn’t long before social media lit up with reactions to the pop icon’s outfit — and the opinions were definitely mixed.
“I just know her hair & makeup stylist hates her,” one user joked on Instagram.
“Fire the glam team… they did our girl DIRRRTY!?” another commented, throwing it back to her 2002 anthem.
Some fans took things further, voicing concern over Aguilera’s noticeably slimmer figure.
“This is not healthy at all,” someone wrote, while another added, “Cher looks younger than her, she needs to stop taking Ozempic, wish her good health.”Christina Aguilera turned heads at the West End premiere of Burlesque: The Musical on Monday, July 21, in London, rocking a bold vintage Versace look.

But it wasn’t all shade — plenty of fans came to Aguilera’s defense, praising her bold throwback style.
“She looks better than everyone commenting, that’s for sure,” one supporter clapped back.
“I’m not crazy about the dress itself, but you can’t deny it’s iconic. I remember Beyoncé wore it at one point,” a Reddit user pointed out. Over on Instagram, someone excitedly recognized the look, saying, “OMG she’s wearing the dress from her 2003 Versace campaign! I remember tearing those photos out of a magazine in high school!”
Turns out, the green corset-style dress is from Versace’s Fall 2003 collection — the same one Aguilera modeled more than two decades ago.
Former Versace creative director Donatella Versace once shared her excitement about collaborating with Aguilera for the iconic 2003 campaign.
“I watch the videos of Christina and I always die,” Versace said at the time, as quoted by Billboard. “She is a great dancer, a great singer, her voice is amazing. I always hoped I could do something with her.”
