Justin Bieber’s surprise album Swag is making major waves, debuting at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart for the week of July 26.
Dropped on July 11, Swag marks Bieber’s second No. 1 in the category since Changes in 2020. The album pulled in 163,000 equivalent album units in its first week—driven heavily by streaming, which accounted for 155,000 units and a whopping 198.8 million streams, making it Bieber’s biggest streaming week ever.
Traditional sales made up just over 6,000 units, with the remaining numbers coming from track-equivalent units.
Swag also opened at No. 2 on both the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and the Billboard 200 charts, trailing just behind JACKBOYS 2 by Travis Scott and his JACKBOYS collective.
The standout track “Yukon” launched at No. 1 on the Hot R&B Songs chart, giving Bieber his sixth No. 1 on that list. In total, Swag has eight songs charting this week, including “Way It Is” featuring Gunna, “Devotion” with Dijon, “Sweet Spot” with Sexyy Red, and the title track with Cash Cobain and Eddie Benjamin.
Swag is Bieber’s first full-length album since 2021’s Justice, and also his first release following his split from longtime manager Scooter Braun in 2023 — as well as his first project since welcoming his son, Jack Blues Bieber, with wife Hailey in August 2024.
