BET+ has dropped the official trailer for Dutch III, the final installment in Manny Halley’s gripping crime-thriller trilogy. Set to premiere on Thursday, July 31, the film sees Lance Gross return as Dutch, who’s been faking his death and hiding out in Italy until one last high-stakes mission pulls him back in.
According to Essence, Dutch teams up once again with his crew—Angel (played by Rocsi Diaz of 106 & Park fame), Craze (Jeremy Meeks, a.k.a. the “Hot Felon”), and Zoom (Markice Moore)—to track down a priceless diamond stolen from a dangerous mob boss. Along the way, they’ll have to settle old grudges, outsmart the feds, and pull off the ultimate disappearing act.
The Dutch III cast packs plenty of star power and new energy. Alongside Lance Gross, Rocsi Diaz, and Jeremy Meeks, the final chapter also features Denny Mendez, Natasha Marc, and Tyrin Turner. Together, they deliver a story steeped in power struggles, betrayal, and redemption.
Behind the camera, creator, producer, and co-writer Manny Halley reunites with director and co-writer Salvatore Sclafani. Production is led by Rodney Turner II, Manny “World” Halley Jr., and Yolanda Halley, while Halley and Jason Harvey serve as executive producers with Teri Woods as co-producer.
Based on Woods’ best-selling novels, the Dutch series has chronicled the title character’s climb from street hustler to global crime boss, with each film raising the stakes in scale, danger, and double-crosses. This third installment leans into that legacy, giving longtime fans a high-octane finale that ties up the threads left dangling from the 2021 BET+ debut and 2023’s Dutch II.
The conclusion also spotlights Angel and Zoom in expanded roles as Dutch’s crew embarks on their biggest mission yet. With bigger heists, bolder locations, and a diamond at the center of every move, the film promises that no one escapes untouched when the credits roll.
Dutch III premieres exclusively on BET+ on July 31.
