Doechii has officially been named the newest ambassador for Samsung’s Galaxy Z series, teaming up with the brand to highlight the cutting-edge features of its foldable smartphones.
Samsung announced the partnership in a statement, revealing that Doechii will be front and center in showcasing all the capabilities of the brand-new Galaxy Z Fold7.
Doechii’s campaign with Samsung officially kicked off on Friday, July 25.
Unveiled during Galaxy Unpacked earlier this month, the new Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 are sleeker, smaller, and more advanced than ever before. To match that futuristic energy, Samsung tapped Doechii to showcase their foldables through music, style, and storytelling.
In the campaign ad, Doechii is seen taking full advantage of the Galaxy Z Fold7’s expansive screen, seamlessly juggling multiple creative tasks at once. One standout feature she highlights is Audio Eraser—Samsung’s AI-powered tool that wipes out background noise from videos, allowing her to edit clean, polished content with ease.
Doechii isn’t the only star in the mix. Samsung also brought in Hollywood content creator Dylan Efron and #TeamGalaxy mainstay Jaden Smith. Efron uses his Fold7 to stay on top of a packed cross-country schedule filled with workouts and his dog Booey, while Smith relies on the device to manage and create for his fashion brand, MSFTSrep.
Olga Suvorova, Samsung Electronics America’s Chief Marketing Officer for Mobile eXperience, explained why the trio were the perfect fit: “Much like our foldables, they’re creative, not afraid to stand out, and demand innovation,” she said in the official announcement.
Throughout the campaign, the Galaxy Z series is presented as the ultimate creative companion for artists like Doechii, using sleek transitions and striking visuals to show how the technology keeps up with their fast-paced, ever-evolving lives.
