Drake Postpones Manchester Concert Over ‘Travel Logistics’

Drake abruptly canceled his Manchester, England concert with less than 24 hours’ notice.

The show, which was set for Monday (July 28), was called off due to “travel logistics,” the Co-Op Live Arena confirmed.

“Due to unforeseen ferry schedule and travel logistics, tomorrow’s Manchester performance on July 28 has been rescheduled,” the arena announced on its website. “The good news is Drake will now hit the stage in Manchester on Tuesday, August 5, and it’s going to be an unforgettable night. All tickets remain valid for the new date—we can’t wait to see you there!”

The Iceman rapper had already taken over the city with shows on Friday and Saturday and is still slated to perform at the venue on August 4 as part of his Some Special Shows 4 U Tour.

This marks Drake’s first European tour in six years, following his 2019 Assassination Vacation Tour in support of his 2018 album Scorpion.

Drake has yet to comment on the last-minute schedule change on his social media.

The 6 God recently dropped a new single, “Which One,” featuring UK rapper Central Cee. The track debuted during his Iceman stream last week, which was filmed around Manchester and hilariously featured Drake being chased by a Pinocchio.
