Leonardo DiCaprio Puts Malibu Beachfront Home on the Market for a Jaw-Dropping Price

Academy Award winner Leonardo DiCaprio is saying goodbye to his Malibu mansion. The Titanic star, 50, has officially put his stunning beach house on the market for a whopping $23 million as of Tuesday, July 15.

The listing describes the Pacific Coast Highway estate as being “tucked away in a small pocket cove known as El Sol, surrounded by large bluff properties and very few other homes directly on the sand.” It further highlights that the property “is located on a private gated street just off PCH, boasting an incredible oceanfront location where tranquility meets an indoor/outdoor lifestyle. Living here, where the rugged bluffs kiss the sea and dolphins play just offshore, is truly rare and special!”

The $23 million asking price marks a nearly $10 million jump from the last time the property sold in 2021.

DiCaprio’s oceanfront Malibu retreat features 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a sauna, hot tub, outdoor fire pit, soaring ceilings, and sleek hardwood floors. In addition to being up for sale, the Oscar winner’s home was also available for rent back in April for a hefty $65,000 per month, according to its Zillow listing.

This isn’t DiCaprio’s first Malibu property. Back in 1998, People reported that the Inception star purchased a three-bedroom home in the area for $1.6 million. Nearly two decades later, in 2016, he listed that property for $10.95 million.

Over the years, DiCaprio has bought and sold close to a dozen homes in prime locations, including Palm Springs, the Hollywood Hills, The Hamptons, New York City, and Malibu.
