Kim Kardashian is taking SKIMS into new territory with a beauty-inspired sleep accessory.
In a recent Instagram post, the brand unveiled The Ultimate Face, a $48 wrap meant to “suck in your cheeks” and sculpt your jawline while you sleep.
Skims says The Ultimate Face is made from its signature sculpting fabric and “infused with collagen yarns for ultra-soft overnight jaw support.”
The reaction on Instagram has been a mix of curiosity and skepticism. Some users asked practical questions like, “Does this help with forward head posture?” and “What are the benefits?” Others poked fun at the concept, with one commenter joking, “Because we all can’t afford face lifts,” and another wondering if Kris Jenner tested the product first.
Not everyone was on board, with critics calling the idea “weird” and one person writing, “We’re not going to make it, are we? Humans I mean.” Another commenter summed up the absurdity with, “What in the Hannibal is this?” referencing the iconic Hannibal Lecter mask from The Silence of the Lambs.
The Ultimate Face is the latest in a string of buzzworthy releases from Kim Kardashian’s label. In early June, Skims dropped The Ultimate Hip, $108 shorts with built-in hip pads “for anyone looking to add some width to their silhouette,” promising the SKIMS hourglass shape in seconds.
Before that, according to Page Six, the brand launched the Ultimate Butt Enhancing line—padded shorts, leggings, and bodysuits promoted with Kardashian as a cheeky “Fairy Butt Mother,” promising to “magically make your dream butt appear (no squats required).” At the start of the year, Skims also turned heads with a push-up bra designed with faux nipple piercings.
