Lil Baby Hosts 5th Annual Back-to-School Fest in Atlanta, Donates Supplies to More Than 4,000 Kids

Lil Baby and his nonprofit, The Jones Project, have once again made a major impact in his hometown.

On Saturday, July 26, the Atlanta rapper hosted the Fifth Annual Back-to-School Fest at West End Production Park, where he provided essential supplies and services to help more than 4,000 local students and families get ready for the new school year.

“At this point, it’s about the kids,” Lil Baby said after the event.

The event aimed to remove financial barriers for Atlanta’s West End youth by offering a full day of free resources and community activities. Students were given free shoes, backpacks, school uniforms, and supplies, as well as haircuts, braiding services, and wellness products.

To make the back-to-school fest possible, Lil Baby partnered with organizations like The Jessie Rose Project, Zaxby’s, The Athlete’s Foot, Fanatics, Slim & Husky’s Pizza, Dr. Bombay, and j.mcallister Events.

The day also featured fun festival-style activities including games, bounce houses, face painting, a shoe-building station, and free meals from Zaxby’s, shoes from The Athlete’s Foot, merch from Fanatics, and treats from Slim & Husky’s Pizza and Dr. Bombay Ice Cream.

The Jones Project continues to showcase Lil Baby’s dedication to supporting Atlanta’s historic West End community. Through the initiative, Baby and his team have consistently provided food, clothing, educational support, and safe spaces for children and families throughout the year.

Lil Baby also recently marked the fifth anniversary of his second studio album, My Turn, by releasing a special edition blue vinyl. The collectible, available now at the Complex Shop, comes paired with a tangerine-colored vinyl to kick off the anniversary celebrations.
