Even though Zendaya and Tom Holland got engaged in January, a wedding isn’t happening anytime soon.
E! News reports that Zendaya’s longtime friend and stylist, Law Roach, revealed why the couple hasn’t started planning their big day.
“The process hasn’t even started yet,” Law explained. “Zendaya is working on so many movies. She’s now filming the next iteration of Dune, so she’s away doing that. It’s so many movies, so we have time. We have a lot of time.”
He added, “I’m really excited because I know that they really love each other and they have for a really long time. The fact that the world has been able to share in that love story, I think it’s really beautiful.”
While wedding plans are on hold, Zendaya and Holland are still busy working together. The couple will star in The Odyssey, set to hit theaters in 2026.
“Two people I really care about—actually three people I really care about a lot—are in that film,” Roach shared. “Zendaya, of course, Tom Holland, and also Anne Hathaway, whom I worked with previously.”
He continued, “I’m really excited to see my close family and my extended family all in this wonderful movie, and Christopher Nolan, we all know that he’s the director everyone’s dying to work with. So, I think it’s going to be really good.”
The Odyssey, an adaptation of Homer’s epic poem, will follow Odysseus’ journey home after the Trojan War. Along with Zendaya, Holland, and Hathaway, the star-studded cast includes Matt Damon, Charlize Theron, Robert Pattinson, Mia Goth, Hamish Patel, Corey Hawkins, Lupita Nyong’o, Elliot Page, and John Leguizamo. The film is scheduled for release in 2026.
