Cardi B brought pure energy and major style to WWE SummerSlam 2025 Night 1, lighting up MetLife Stadium as the event’s official host.
The Grammy-winning rapper kicked things off with a jaw-dropping entrance, strutting down the ramp in a black feathered outfit that looked straight off a high-fashion runway. Cardi also gave fans a treat by teasing a brand-new track during her entrance, believed to be a sneak peek from her long-anticipated album Am I The Drama?
Once she reached the ramp, Cardi grabbed the mic and let her excitement pour out.
“I’ll be real with y’all I’m excited! Who’s ready to whoop some ass,” she shouted before unleashing a few screams. “People are going to be talking about this forever. Welcome to SummerSlam!”
Behind-the-scenes footage captured a sweet moment between Cardi B and WWE executive Paul “Triple H” Levesque, who gave her a motivating pep talk before showtime. After sharing a hug, Cardi stormed the stage with full energy, ready to own the night.
Cardi wasn’t the only star who brought the heat Saturday night. Logan Paul and Jelly Roll delivered one of the wildest moments of the entire event during their tag team match with Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre. At one point, Paul launched himself off the ropes and landed a massive body splash onto Jelly Roll right on top of one of the announce tables.
The brutal bump appeared to take Jelly Roll out of the match as WWE officials rushed him backstage. But the country star wasn’t down for long—he made a dramatic return to assist Randy Orton. Unfortunately, his comeback was cut short when he ate a devastating Claymore Kick from Drew McIntyre followed by a Frog Splash from Logan Paul, sealing the pinfall and the loss.
