Megan Thee Stallion’s Legal Team Claims Blogger Deleted Messages With Tory Lanez’s Father

Megan Thee Stallion’s legal team is accusing blogger Milagro Cooper of destroying evidence by deleting “thousands of messages” from her phone, including exchanges with Tory Lanez’s father, Sonstar Peterson.

According to court documents from an Aug. 6 filing obtained by Complex, Megan’s lawyers flagged Cooper’s alleged “deletion of communications, including those with Sonstar Peterson” as a major concern in the discovery process.

“Despite good faith attempts at conferral, Defendant has presented no well-reasoned explanation for the mass deletion of thousands of messages from her cell phone,” the filing states. The documents also reference plans to re-depose Lanez and his attorney, Caesar McDowell.

During a hearing on Aug. 5, another Florida court filing cited a screenshot from Cooper’s phone as evidence, showing a “deleted folder” tied to Tory’s father.

Megan first sued Cooper last October, accusing her—known online as Milagro Gramz—of leading a “campaign of harassment and cyberbullying” connected to Lanez’s 2022 shooting conviction.

“It’s time to hold bloggers accountable for years of harassment, cyberbullying, and the publication of misinformation about my personal and professional life,” Megan said in a statement at the time. “I’ve endured countless attacks on my character based on false narratives from social media bloggers misrepresenting themselves as journalists. It’s unacceptable behavior and these individuals need to understand there will be repercussions for recklessly posting lies and defamatory falsehoods.”

Tory Lanez was sentenced in 2023 to 10 years in prison, with then–Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón praising Megan for her “incredible bravery and vulnerability” throughout the highly publicized trial.
