MGK gave his daughter the dream car she’d been wishing for.
In a video making the rounds online, the 35-year-old singer-rapper surprised his 16-year-old daughter, Casie Colson Baker, with a brand-new Acura TLX—the exact model she’d asked for.
“What’s the number one rule?” he asked her.
“Don’t drive like your dad,” she replied.
“Exactly. Don’t drive like me,” he said with a smile.
The surprise took place at MGK’s own café, 27 Club, during MGK Day 2025—a weekend-long celebration in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, honoring the release of his latest album, Lost Americana.
Festivities kicked off Friday night with a show at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica, opening with a DJ set from Emo Night Brooklyn. The weekend lineup also featured a brunch party, a skateboarding competition, and a themed bar crawl through several Cleveland bars.
The main MGK Day block party went down on Sunday (August 10), offering food, music, vendors, and activities for all ages.
In support of Cleveland Metropolitan School District students, the event encouraged attendees to bring or donate school supplies and funds, with multiple registration options available.
