Offset is owning up to his mistakes in his marriage to Cardi B.
In a new sit-down with Ebro Darden, the rapper didn’t shy away from admitting his faults. “I fucked up,” he said bluntly. “Just being real.”
He and Darden went on to discuss their talks about the situation, with Ebro offering him words of encouragement. Offset added, “I gotta acknowledge that and get back on the journey.”
Offset’s alleged infidelity has been at the center of his split with Cardi B, fueling their ongoing divorce battle. But the drama hasn’t stopped there.
In May, Cardi unleashed a fiery rant on X Spaces, calling out Offset for requesting spousal support and detailing the strain she’s been under. “I didn’t ask for no child support because I wanna be done with this marriage. Like, I feel like I’m tied up,” she said. “There is not one day that he’s not allowed to see my kids, okay? He stood up my kids three times.”
Her emotions boiled over as she added, “I want you to die, but I want you to die fucking slow, na. When you die, na, I want you to die slow in the bed and when you die, n***a, you gotta think of me.”
Cardi also broke down the financial pressure she carries, revealing she spends $50,000 a month on private school, tutors, nannies, and sports — expenses she claims Offset hasn’t contributed to in over a year.
“I allow you to talk to the kids every single day. If I allow you to talk to the kids, why would I not allow you to see the kids?” she said, before accusing him of missing multiple scheduled visits and noting he hadn’t seen their children since March.
Meanwhile, Offset seems to be handling things differently, signaling that he’s moving on. While Cardi has been linked to NFL star Stefon Diggs, Offset let it be known he has eyes for pop singer Sabrina Carpenter. After a Complex interview exposed his celebrity crush, Offset doubled down by dropping a heart-eyes emoji under a post about her.
