First-Week Sales Numbers Are In for Gunna’s The Last Wun

Gunna just scored another major win with his latest project, The Last Wun.

Per Luminate via Billboard, the album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 after moving 80,000 equivalent album units in its first week. Almost all of that came from streaming—79,000 units, which equals about 104.49 million official on-demand streams. Pure album sales added 1,000 units, while track-equivalent sales barely moved the needle.

The Last Wun marks Gunna’s seventh top 10 entry on the Billboard 200. The project followed the singles “Him All Along,” which peaked at No. 58 on the Hot 100 last November, and “Won’t Stop,” which reached No. 70 in June.

Elsewhere on the charts, Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem kept its stranglehold on No. 1 for an 11th nonconsecutive week with 126,000 units. The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack held steady at No. 2, jumping to 104,000 units—its best week yet.

MGK also came in strong with lost americana, debuting at No. 4 with 63,000 units, including a hefty 40,500 in pure sales, enough to grab No. 1 on Top Album Sales. Rounding out the top five was Alex Warren’s You’ll Be Alright, Kid, which climbed from 6 to 5 with 42,000 units.

With The Last Wun, Gunna proves once again he’s one of rap’s most reliable hitmakers. Even NBA superstar LeBron James couldn’t help but salute him on X, writing: “WUNNA!!!! Man o man, You don’t miss.”
