Over the weekend, a Justin Bieber look-alike caused a major stir in Las Vegas — tricking fans into believing he was the pop star himself and even landing a performance spot at one of the city’s top nightlife venues.
Videos flooding social media showed the imposter roaming around Sin City, posing for photos, drawing huge crowds outside stores, and shopping for designer goods while fans swarmed to catch a glimpse.
The chaos peaked when the fake Bieber actually convinced staff at The Wynn’s XS Nightclub that he was the real thing, managing to hit the stage in front of the crowd.
Las Vegas Locally was among the first to highlight the wild stunt.
The look-alike even managed to crash the stage during DJ Gryffin’s set, grabbing the mic and lip-syncing to Bieber’s hit “Sorry” as the crowd went wild.
Dressed in sunglasses, a hoodie pulled over his head, oversized Bieber-style clothes, and sporting a collection of tattoos that mirrored the pop star’s ink, the imposter had the packed club convinced they were watching the real Justin in action.
The crowd, fully convinced they were watching the actual Justin Bieber, went absolutely wild. Even Gryffin seemed unfazed, vibing just a few feet away from the imposter and enjoying the moment as “Sorry” blasted through the club.
It’s still a mystery how the fake Bieber managed to slip past so many people at XS or whether someone from Gryffin’s crew actually brought him on stage.
The imposter has since been identified as Dylan Desclos — and pulling off Justin Bieber impressions is pretty much his online gimmick. He’s been fooling people with the act for years.
Desclos had actually teased his Vegas adventure on social media a full day before crashing the stage at XS.
As for the real Justin Bieber, he hasn’t commented on the stunt yet. Meanwhile, fans who thought they got a surprise Bieber performance voiced their frustration online, admitting they were let down once they realized it was all just an impersonation.
