Memphis Bleek has fans buzzing after hinting that Jay-Z is back in the studio.
During a recent sit-down on Drink Champs with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, Bleek teased that Hov has new music on the way—dropping just enough to spark excitement while joking, “Save me a verse.”
“I just was with him in Vegas … He just came out on the show, like, yo, my n***a, they went stupid,” Memphis Bleek said around the 41-minute mark of his Drink Champs interview, seemingly referring to Jay-Z’s cameo at Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour finale, which also reunited Destiny’s Child onstage.
“I said, ‘Listen, I know you working. Save me a verse.’ He’s like, ‘Alright, I got you.’ So if it happens, it happens,” Bleek added.
If true, a new Jay-Z solo project would mark his first since 4:44 in 2017—his longest break between albums to date. After 4:44, Hov linked with Beyoncé for their joint album Everything Is Love in 2018, followed by the On The Run II Tour.
His most recent feature came in 2022 on Pusha T’s Pharrell-produced track “Neck & Wrist.”
With Beyoncé reportedly gearing up for Act III of her trilogy—a rock-inspired album expected in 2026—and Jay-Z possibly lining up his thirteenth studio project, it looks like the Carters’ fans may have plenty of new music on the horizon.
