Theo Von had to deal with some serious disruption at his recent show—one that ended with a fan being booted from the venue.
The comedian was performing Saturday (Aug. 16) at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., when a woman in the crowd began heckling him nonstop. In video of the incident, she’s seen being escorted out by security as Von quips, “Don’t sue me. I’m in a fucking wheelchair.”
According to TMZ, eyewitnesses said the woman appeared intoxicated and refused to get off her phone despite multiple polite requests from security. Instead, she argued and yelled at staff as they tried to handle the situation discreetly.
Von reportedly stopped his set twice to check on the commotion, even politely asking the woman to leave and offering her a refund through his assistant. When she refused, security stepped in to escort her out—at which point she allegedly punched another audience member.
While Von handled this latest interruption with humor, things got more heated back in May when he was filmed putting his hands on a man who was antagonizing him at the Twelve Thirty Club in Nashville. In that clip, obtained by TMZ, Von appeared to grab the man by the throat to push him away after repeated harassment.
