Tamar Braxton is speaking out about a frightening experience she says nearly cost her life.
On Tuesday, August 19, the singer took to Instagram, sharing a reposted quote on her Story that read, “Thank you God for waking me up today.”
She then revealed the chilling details, writing, “I struggled to write this but everyone keeps calling me and honestly, I can’t even really talk anymore I’m so weak. I almost died Sunday. I was found in a pool of blood from my friend with a face injury.”
Braxton went on to share, “As the days go by the worse it is. I fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility. The way I look at life now is totally different. As my health is on the mend my mental journey begins. Pray for me for real I don’t even know what happened to me.”
At this point, it’s unclear what exactly occurred or where Braxton was when her friend found her, but the ordeal was clearly severe.
She did not post any photos showing the extent of her injuries.
Recently, Braxton has been appearing on the reality series The Braxtons on We TV, which is gearing up for its second season. She also joined October London and Ro James on the October Nights: Calling All Lovers Tour.
Just ahead of the tour, Braxton told fans she was determined to focus on her well-being, writing on Instagram, “Bday is over so no more drinks…. No more carbs… all body and VOICE!!!”
Tamar, who usually keeps her social media active, had gone unusually quiet in the days leading up to her shocking post, only sharing promo for an upcoming TV appearance.
