Ice Spice has fresh music on the horizon.
She just teased a new single—likely titled “Baddie Baddie”—which flips M.I.A.’s 2012 smash “Bad Girls.”
In the 30-second snippet, Ice rocks a fiery red cropped leather jacket, ultra-short distressed denim shorts, and powder-blue strappy heels, striking poses and dancing with her signature confidence as the track plays.
“They said they wanted a bop, I was just poppin’ my shit / I ain’t even really mean to go pop,” Ice raps in the teaser. “He was just begging to hit, I don’t be giving you n****s a shot.
“I know he don’t want me for me / I know he just wants what I got / Baddie, baddie, I’m feelin’ nasty,” she continues.
It looks like Ice Spice fans won’t be waiting much longer for new music. Her loyal Munchkins noticed that she recently wiped her entire Instagram page, a classic sign that a new era is about to begin.
The 25-year-old Bronx star hasn’t dropped a full album since her debut Y2K last July. She followed it up in December with a deluxe edition, I’m Just a Girl, which added tracks like “Hannah Montana” featuring NLE Choppa and DaBaby.
Most recently, Ice jumped on the remix of girl group Katseye’s viral hit “Gnarly” in June, keeping fans fed while they await her next big release.
