Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s $ome $exy $ongs 4 U standout “Somebody Loves Me” just got the ultimate visual treatment—19 new videos.
The wave of creativity was sparked by Kai Cenat, who previously shared his wish to direct a Drake video after the release of the Theo Skudra-helmed “Nokia.”
Now, Kai has teamed up with Drake to bring that vision to life, inviting directors of all backgrounds to take a shot at creating their own spin. According to Drake’s camp, the 19 clips function as both “micro-videos” and potential pitches for a full-length concept.
“Our finalists represent a diverse range of experience levels, as we were committed to giving new and emerging directors—including a few first-time directors—the opportunity to showcase their talent,” read a statement posted on Drake’s official site.
Drake expanded on the project via Instagram on Wednesday (Aug. 27), explaining that he, Kai, and PARTYNEXTDOOR “wanted to give anyone and everyone looking for a creative opportunity a chance to direct and showcase their abilities.”

“Thank you for all your submissions and congrats to the 20 people that were chosen,” Drake wrote.
Among those who earned the 6 God stamp of approval with their micro-videos are SEYI.KG, Justice Silvera, Edgar Daniel, Riley Robbins, Aaron Ricketts, Rich Hall, Taran, Hannah Sider, Jaleigha B. Jones, Jabari Daniel, Jlean, Jordan Sook Studios, Annie Burke, Matias Sarria & Carlos Rodriguez, Ameya Tokyo, Elias & Tamara Majin, Dt July, Dito Andres, and Kristen Lambie.
The latest $$$4U rollout comes as anticipation builds for Iceman, Drake’s forthcoming solo album and his first since 2023’s For All the Dogs. Though a release date hasn’t been confirmed, the project is expected to drop before the end of the year.
