Step aside, Taylor and Travis—there’s a new engagement making headlines. On Wednesday (Aug. 27), TMZ revealed that French Montana, 40, and Dubai princess Sheikha Mahra, 31, are officially engaged after formalizing their relationship back in June.
The couple was first seen together last month at a Paris Fashion Week event, looking happy as they made their debut. Their public appearance came just a few months after Mahra finalized her divorce from Emirati businessman and royal Sheikh Mana, with whom she shares a daughter born last May.
Soon after the split, Mahra—who is the daughter of United Arab Emirates Prime Minister Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum—welcomed French Montana to Dubai and gave him a tour of the city.
According to TMZ, that trip marked the beginning of their relationship.
