Michael Jackson would have celebrated his 67th birthday on August 29, and while fans around the world honored the music legend, his son made sure to pay tribute as well.
Prince Jackson marked the day by sharing multiple images and remembrance posts on his Instagram Story, celebrating the life and legacy of the King of Pop.
One of the posts Prince shared came from Michael’s nephew Taryll, who included a photo of the late star alongside the caption, “I miss you, the world misses you. Thank you for your guidance and love. King of ALL kings… past, present & future. PERIOD!”
Taryll is the son of Michael’s brother, Tito Jackson.

Prince also shared a tribute image from another account with the caption: “Remembering the vibrant artist today. May your legacy of music and dance inspire us forever.”
He went on to repost a video of Michael showing off his iconic dance moves, as well as a sweet childhood photo of the pop legend.
Michael Jackson passed away on June 25, 2009, after going into cardiac arrest at his Los Angeles home. His death was later ruled a homicide caused by acute propofol intoxication. His personal doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to four years in prison.
On a brighter note, Prince recently shared some happy news of his own—announcing his engagement to his longtime girlfriend, Molly.
In a heartfelt post filled with sweet photos—including one featuring his grandmother Katherine Jackson—Prince wrote, “8 years down infinity to go. Molly and I have spent a lot of time together and made incredible memories. We’ve traveled the world, graduated and grown so much together. I’m excited for this next chapter in our lives as we continue to grow and make great memories. I love you babs.”
