Kristin Cabot has reportedly filed for divorce after being caught cozying up with ex-Astronomer CEO Andy Byron at a Coldplay concert.
TMZ reports that Cabot, the former HR executive at Astronomer, filed for legal separation from her husband, Andrew Cabot, on August 13 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
The scandal began in July when Cabot and Byron, who is also married, were spotted embracing during the Boston stop of Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour. Once the cameras panned to them, the pair quickly tried to pull apart — but not before Chris Martin called them out. “Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy,” the Coldplay frontman quipped.
The fallout only escalated after the concert clip went viral, with both Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot stepping down from their roles at DataOps company Astronomer. The firm soon announced it was searching for a new CEO.
Astronomer’s interim chief, Pete DeJoy, leaned into the spotlight, joking on LinkedIn that while the sudden attention was “unusual and surreal,” it had turned the company into a “household name.”
Adding another layer to the drama was Gwyneth Paltrow, who recently starred in an Astronomer ad campaign. The actress and entrepreneur — and notably Chris Martin’s ex-wife — appeared to poke fun at the situation.
In a tongue-in-cheek video, Paltrow addressed “the most common questions” Astronomer had been receiving since the scandal broke. Each time the viral moment came up, the clip cut to cheeky on-screen messages, with Paltrow hilariously dodging the topic.
