Priscilla Presley is firmly denying new accusations that she played a role in Elvis Presley’s 1977 death.
According to Complex, former business partners Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko filed an amended version of their 2023 lawsuit against Priscilla, where they originally accused her of fraud, breach of contract, and damages. The pair had also alleged that she was responsible for taking her daughter, the late Lisa Marie Presley, off life support earlier that year — a claim the 80-year-old has strongly denied.
In the updated filing, Kruse and Fialko went further, claiming Priscilla “pushed [Elvis] to his death,” labeling her a “calculated sociopath and master of deception” who manipulates those closest to her.
The suit outlines that when Priscilla and Elvis divorced in 1973, she waived rights to his estate in exchange for a six-figure cash settlement, cars, and spousal and child support. The plaintiffs allege she later accused Elvis of fraud to renegotiate for a larger payout — which ultimately included over $1 million, half the proceeds from the sale of his Los Angeles home, and significant spousal support.
They also point to a lien placed on Graceland in 1977 for nearly $500 million (about $2.3 billion today), claiming the added financial pressure contributed to Elvis’ fatal heart attack and drug complications just months later.
Priscilla’s attorney, Marty Singer, slammed the allegations in a statement to TMZ, calling them “absurd and ridiculous.” He added, “We expect her next amendment to claim that Priscilla is responsible for the death of JFK.”
Lisa Marie’s daughter, actress Riley Keough, is currently overseeing the estate following a legal battle with Priscilla that ended in a settlement in May 2023.
