Joe Budden and Kylie Jenner Named as Possible Witnesses in Megan Thee Stallion Defamation Case

The upcoming defamation trial between Megan Thee Stallion and blogger Milagro Gramz is shaping up to be high-profile, with Joe Budden and Kylie Jenner among the surprising names on the defense’s witness list.

A September 5 filing in the Southern District of Florida confirmed that Budden and Jenner could testify on behalf of Milagro Gramz (real name Milagro Elizabeth Cooper), whom Megan accuses of orchestrating an online smear campaign tied to Tory Lanez’s 2022 criminal case.

Jenner’s inclusion likely stems from the July 2020 Hollywood pool party she hosted—the same night Megan was shot on her way home, an incident that later led to Lanez’s conviction.

Megan has positioned the civil case as part of her fight against the abuse of online platforms to harass and discredit women in music.

“It’s time to hold bloggers accountable for years of harassment, cyberbullying, and the publication of misinformation about my personal and professional life,” she said earlier this year. She added, “I’ve endured countless attacks on my character based on false narratives from social media bloggers misrepresenting themselves as journalists. It’s unacceptable behavior and these individuals need to understand there will be repercussions for recklessly posting lies and defamatory falsehoods.”

Budden’s presence on the list raises eyebrows, given his outspoken commentary on Megan and influence in hip-hop media, though the filing doesn’t detail what testimony he or Jenner would provide.

Also named as potential witnesses are Lanez himself, his father Sonstar Peterson, 1501 Records head Carl Crawford, and blogger Jason Lee.

The trial is set to kick off on November 17, 2025.
