Teen Mom 2 alum Jenelle Evans says she had an unexpected link-up with Lil Wayne following her divorce.
During a recent livestream, Evans claimed the Tha Carter VI rapper slid into her Instagram DMs and personally arranged to fly her out. She admitted the idea of hooking up was brought up during their time together, but she wasn’t interested.
“I just said I wanted to go out to dinner and get to know each other first,” Evans shared. “He just wanted to jump into it, I guess you could say.”
According to her, Wayne eventually flew the mother-of-three back home.
“I didn’t get butt hurt. I knew what I was going there for and I knew that eventually that conversation would come up with him. I’m just not that type of person to give into anybody,” she explained.
As rumors spread online, Evans doubled down in a TikTok posted Tuesday (Sept. 9).
“This seriously did happen,” she said. “I’m not gonna say too much about the situation, because he didn’t have me sign an NDA, and at first, I didn’t believe it was him until he FaceTimed me.”
Evans went on to say that she and Lil Wayne “texted a lot” and shared “great conversation” before she made the trip.
“He’s really respectful, really nice, and I’m more of a person who wants to connect on a deeper level, so I’m not just looking for hookups,” she explained.
The Teen Mom alum and OnlyFans creator admitted one part of the visit unnerved her—being told to leave her phone behind in the hotel while spending time with Wayne. Still, she noted that all her belongings were “safe” when she returned.
She praised the rapper and his team for being “hospitable,” describing the visit as a “cool experience.” “Glad I met him,” she added, saying that Weezy “stumbled upon” one of her reels and had no idea about her MTV background.
“No hard feelings between me and him—it was just a crazy story,” Evans concluded.
A year after splitting from her then-husband David Eason, Jenelle Evans finalized their divorce this past July, ending their six-and-a-half-year marriage. The former couple share an 8-year-old daughter, Ensley, while Evans is also mom to two sons from earlier relationships.
