Beyoncé’s Unreleased Tracks Still Nowhere to Be Found Despite Arrest in Hard Drive Theft Case

A suspect has been arrested in connection with the theft of Beyoncé’s hard drive, but the missing music still hasn’t been found.

Back in July, reports surfaced that someone had broken into a vehicle belonging to the Cowboy Carter star ahead of one of her Atlanta shows. TMZ obtained audio of the 911 call placed after the incident, where the caller pleaded for the return of the stolen drive, which had a tracker attached.

“They have my computer, and it’s really, really important information in there,” the caller said. “I work with someone who’s of a high status, and I really need my computer and everything.”

According to a new TMZ report on Tuesday (Sept. 16), police confirmed that a suspect, Kelvin Evans, was arrested this week for breaking into the Jeep Wagoneer. While Evans was taken into custody, the stolen hard drive has yet to be recovered. Authorities also noted that two suitcases were taken during the break-in.

Authorities say that the drive held Beyoncé’s unreleased music, concert set lists and footage plans. The suspect is now in Fulton County Jail.

Despite the theft, Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour carried on without a hitch, wrapping up its 32-date run in July with a final stop in Las Vegas. The tour pulled in an incredible $407.6 million in ticket sales, making it the fastest tour ever to hit that milestone.

Just months before hitting the road, Cowboy Carter earned Beyoncé major recognition at the 2025 Grammy Awards, taking home both Album of the Year and Best Country Album.
