Cardi B Weighs In on Marriage: ‘I’m Still a Hopeless Romantic’

Cardi B is proving she hasn’t lost faith in love — or marriage.

During her guest-hosting spot on Today with Jenna & Friends on Tuesday (Sept. 16), the rapper was asked if she’d ever walk down the aisle again.

“Yeah, I’ll get married again, yes,” Cardi replied without hesitation. “I believe in love. I’m like a hopeless romantic.”

The 32-year-old also opened up about her budding romance with NFL star Stefon Diggs. When asked if the “sparks were sparking,” Cardi laughed, “Sparkling, honey! Fourth of July.” She admitted she was immediately attracted to him, saying, “I thought he was cute … I was like, ‘Oh, you gotta be mine.’”

Though she joked that women “aren’t supposed to reach out to a man,” she shared they were introduced through mutual friends. And now, she’s all in on football Sundays. “I’m a football fan, honey,” she said. “I be in front of the screen on Sunday every day cursing people out. ‘Just pass the ball!’”

She revealed she hasn’t attended any of Diggs’ games yet, since she’s been focused on finishing her sophomore album Am I the Drama? — but once it drops, she promised, “I’m going to every single game, every single one of them.”

Meanwhile, Cardi’s ex Offset has a very different outlook. Speaking on the Full Send Podcast, the 33-year-old said he has no interest in marrying again. “No, it’s not for me,” he explained. “I’ve done it, had three kids with it. It’s like a mission that’s been complete.”

Offset and Cardi’s relationship was notoriously on-and-off after they got together in 2017 and tied the knot later that year. Cardi filed for divorce for the third time in July 2024. The pair share three kids: 7-year-old daughter Kulture, 4-year-old son Wave, and Blossom, born in September 2024.

Cardi also used her guest-hosting gig to reveal that she’s heading out on her Little Miss Drama Tour in 2026. The arena trek kicks off Feb. 11 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California, and will hit major cities like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Houston, and New York — where she’ll headline Madison Square Garden on March 25. The tour wraps April 17 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
