Cardi B Takes Aim at “Diarrhea BIA” on Pretty & Petty: “Why You Always at Diddy House?”

Cardi B isn’t holding back on “Pretty & Petty,” a fiery three-minute takedown from her brand-new sophomore album Am I the Drama? — and the target is none other than BIA.

The tension between the two has been brewing for a while, with Cardi even threatening to sue the “Lights Out” rapper in the past. Now, with this blistering diss track officially out, fans are dissecting every bar and revisiting the drama that built up to this moment.

Here’s a closer look at the lyrics and the history behind the feud.

On “Pretty & Petty,” Cardi B wastes no time setting the tone. The track kicks off with her declaring herself “pretty” and “petty as fuck” before zeroing in on BIA.

“Name five BIA songs, gun pointin’ to your head,” Cardi spits to open the first verse. “Bow, I’m dead.”

From there, she tears into her rival, dismissing her style as a “melatonin flow” and demanding Epic Records “run me my bread” for even putting BIA on wax. She also prays with gratitude that she’s not in BIA’s shoes, saying she’d “rather die on the surgery table” than “walk around here lookin’ like you.”

The second verse turns the heat up further. Cardi brands BIA a “fake ghetto bitch” and pointedly asks, “Why you always at Diddy house?” She dubs her “Diarrhea BIA,” claims she’s “built like your dad,” and mocks her bookings by saying promoters only call when they “can’t afford Coi [Leray].”

In the outro, Cardi references Mean Girls — “I’m a mean girl, you a Gretchen, at best” — before questioning why BIA would even dare to feud with her.

“Told you, don’t you ever mention my kids, bitch,” she warns as the track comes to a close.

What’s the backstory on Cardi B and BIA’s feud?

As Complex reported last year, Cardi fired shots at BIA on the remix of GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion’s “Wanna Be.” The jabs didn’t come out of nowhere — tensions had been simmering for months leading up to the remix.

Before that, BIA appeared to diss Cardi on the remix to Dreezy’s “Bitch Duh.” Interestingly, just a year prior, BIA told fans she had “no issues” with Cardi, making the sudden shift even more noticeable.
