Cardi B’s boyfriend and soon-to-be baby father, Stefon Diggs, has been hit with a paternity lawsuit just a day after the couple revealed they’re expecting.
According to court documents obtained by Complex, West Coast model Aileen Lopera — known as Lord Gisselle — filed a petition back in November 2024 naming Diggs as the father of her unborn child. She requested that the NFL star cover her pregnancy and birth-related expenses, along with attorney fees. Lopera also asked for sole legal and physical custody of her daughter, while allowing Diggs visitation rights.
Diggs, who already shares an 8-year-old daughter named Nova from a previous relationship, responded in mid-July — about three months after Lopera gave birth. Legal papers list the baby as Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, though Diggs stated he isn’t sure the child is his. The New England wide receiver is demanding a genetic test to confirm paternity. If proven, he wants joint custody and for both parties to split the pregnancy, birth, and legal costs.
It remains unclear whether the genetic testing has been completed. Lopera’s attorney has not responded to requests for comment.
Meanwhile, Diggs is preparing to welcome his first child with Cardi B. The Bronx rapper, who already has three children with estranged husband Offset, opened up during a recent sit-down with Gayle King on CBS Mornings.
“I just was like, ‘Can I just say it on my own time?’ Like, I’m not hiding,” Cardi explained. “On my time, on my own terms. Let me close some deals first, you know what I’m saying? … You don’t really want to say right away that you’re pregnant. It’s like, ‘Let me see a couple more sonograms. Let my baby be healthy.’”
