YesJulz took to Twitter with a wild claim about her time working with Kanye West, saying he once brought a brain scan machine into a hotel room to “assess the team’s brain.”
In sync with the release of Ye’s new documentary In Whose Name?, Julz shared a throwback photo of herself seated in a futuristic chair, surrounded by screens and hooked up to headgear.
“In honor of the doc dropping today, I’ll be sharing a few of my favorite memories from working with Ye on Snapchat,” she captioned. “This pic is from that one time he had a brain doctor put a brain scan machine in his hotel room at the Trump Towers in Chicago to assess the team’s brains.”
Julz worked with Ye until their fallout last year, revealing she was fired from his Yeezy brand earlier in the year over an alleged NDA violation. Despite facing legal threats, she has continued to publicly support him, even as he’s drawn heavy backlash for his antisemitic remarks in recent years.
When critics accused her of “glazing” him after she kept posting about him, Julz defended her stance, insisting she only wishes him well.
“[Kanye] has not told me he is suing me,” she wrote in a lengthy tweet. “I have compassion and grace for Ye as I know first hand how the people around him move & I feel it’s only a matter of time before the truth is revealed & he realizes what’s truly going on. I pray for his continued success & protection.”
