A$AP Rocky may have just spilled the beans on baby number three with Rihanna—and even the name.
In his new GQ interview, the Harlem star accepted congratulations and playfully hinted that their next child will be named after his Highest 2 Lowest co-star, Denzel Washington.
“Denzel, no matter what,” Rocky said. “The first female [to] come out named Denzel, it’s lit. We got it figured out.”
The comment comes just weeks after Washington reacted to the idea himself during a joint interview with Spike Lee. “I think Denzel’s a beautiful name for a son,” he said, as Lee urged Rocky, “You got to!”
Rocky has also dropped hints that a baby girl could be on the way. At the Smurfs global premiere, Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier asked if “that’s the girl you’ve been waiting for?” Rocky smiled and replied, “It is, man. It is,” before holding up a Smurfette doll and joking, “Right here.”
Rocky and Rihanna are already parents to two boys, RZA and Riot, and welcoming a girl would mark a new milestone for their growing family. In the GQ sit-down, Rocky admitted this pregnancy feels “different” from the first two.
“Nothing’s ever the same,” he said. “Each experience is always just different in its own right. And it’s no different with this one.”
Meanwhile, Rocky is gearing up to drop his long-awaited album Don’t Be Dumb and just unveiled his first collaboration with Moncler.
