Meek Mill and disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes have struck up an unlikely online connection after Holmes reached out from behind bars asking him to look into her case.
It started when Holmes tweeted about the “most underrated AI video creators” on X. Meek jumped in to applaud her support of creators, writing, “We neeed more of this on social media.”
Holmes then replied, “Thanks Meek. Currently serving 137 month sentence in federal prison. Would love to work with you on Reform. Here is some legislation I have drafted. Your story inspired me to keep fighting.”

In response, Meek Mill hinted he’s open to collaborating with Elizabeth Holmes on prison reform efforts. “Let me check your story out!!!” he wrote in a follow-up.

Back in 2022, Elizabeth Holmes was found guilty on three counts of wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. She’s serving an 11-year-plus sentence, with an expected release in 2032 for good behavior. Holmes quickly appealed the conviction, but her bid was rejected earlier this year. In her exchange with Meek, she even linked to her proposed American Freedom Act bill, which she hopes could help her and others secure earlier releases.
Meanwhile, Meek Mill has been diving deep into artificial intelligence. Just last month, he said he’s working on a tool he believes “can change the world,” adding, “I can’t wait to get a chance to show the world how smart I really am!” He also made headlines after revealing he couldn’t locate his father’s grave in Philadelphia and even asked X’s built-in AI, Grok, if it could help him explore a potential lawsuit over it.
