Cardi B is continuing to feel the love from her Bardi Gang as she makes her way through a series of meet and greets.
On Friday (September 26), just a week after dropping her sophomore album Am I the Drama?, the Grammy winner hosted a fan event at Fingerprints Music in Long Beach, where thousands packed the record store. Among the crowd was one fan who proudly showed off a massive ribcage tattoo of Cardi’s face — a tribute that caught the rapper’s eye and even made it to her Instagram Story.
In another moment from the event, Cardi spotted a fan with her “Get Up 10” lyrics inked on their skin. “Fuckin’ period. Oh, this is so beautiful,” she gushed while reading the tattoo. “I like this writing.”
It’s not the first time she’s encountered such bold tributes — just last year, Cardi met a fan who had her portrait tattooed on his thigh, which she went on to autograph.
Along with fans showing off their Cardi-inspired ink, the “Errtime” rapper revealed she’s planning a new tattoo of her own.
Cardi, who already has the names of her older kids Kulture, 7, and Wave, tatted on her, shared on The Jennifer Hudson Show earlier this month that she wants something special for her youngest, 12-month-old Blossom. The Bronx star — who is currently expecting her first child with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs — said she’s leaning toward a cherry blossom tree design instead of just her daughter’s name.
“I don’t know where I’m going to put my daughter’s name, Blossom, because I don’t really want to put her name,” Cardi explained around the three-minute mark of the interview. “I want to get, like, a blossom cherry tree, but all the spots are already taken. I’m like super tatted up.”
