6ix9ine confessed he was genuinely scared during his 2018 run-in with Casanova at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

In a new VladTV interview, Tekashi 6ix9ine revisited his heated run-in with Casanova’s crew at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center back in 2018 — admitting he was terrified during the clash.

6ix9ine explained that the beef stemmed from Casanova’s track “Don’t Run,” which he claimed mocked a failed robbery attempt by a Nine Trey member. He said the record felt like Cas was “cooperating,” a view that later echoed in court when prosecutors unsuccessfully tried to use the song against Nine Trey.

Recalling the Barclays altercation backstage at an Adrien Broner fight, 6ix9ine said Casanova’s squad outnumbered his own crew, a detail backed by surveillance footage. During the standoff, Nine Trey affiliate Fuguan Lovick fired a single shot, sending both sides scattering. Lovick later pled guilty and was sentenced to 85 months in prison.

“I was like, ‘Oh it’s over,'” 6ix9ine admitted. “Like, ‘They got me.’ … 20 versus 5, it was over. I said, ‘Oh, it’s over, it was a set-up. … I didn’t know who shot.”

He added that he was shaken the entire time and even thought he’d been hit. “The whole time I was scared,” he said with a laugh. “Everybody ran but [Casanova]. … Everybody ran but him.”

Casanova is currently serving a 15-year sentence on RICO charges tied to his alleged role in the Bloods set, the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation. Earlier this year, he offered fans a rare glimpse into his life behind bars, posting photos on Instagram that highlighted his muscle gains.
