Cardi B and Nicki Minaj’s ongoing feud flared up once again on X Monday (Sept. 29), this time sparked by Cardi’s latest album, Am I the Drama?
“Never provoke a writer while they’re [writing emoji],” Nicki, 42, tweeted that night while also promoting her upcoming album, set to drop March 27, 2026. “Let the reindeer games begin.”
In a string of now-deleted posts, the Pink Friday star went off on 32-year-old Cardi, even mocking her album’s promo price by tweeting “$4.99” in reference to Am I the Drama? being discounted on iTunes.
Nicki took aim at the pregnant Cardi, dubbing her “Barney Dangerous” while clowning her album sales — despite Am I the Drama? debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and going double platinum its first week.
She zeroed in on Bardi’s track “Magnet” and its viral line: “A-B-C-D-E-F-G / these bitches can’t fuck with me.”
“Abcdefgeeeeeeee,” Nicki tweeted. “SUR GER REE TO LOOK LIKE MEEEEEE / tell the rat & tell J ZEEEEEE / Rico Fraud & PERJURY.”
In another post, she added, “Fallin off the charts wit a big bellyyyy / RUNNING TRAINS. Barefoot, still smellyyyyy / Still. You. Could. Not. outsell. meeeeee.”
“A B C D E F G / Yor man have to snatch PUSSY / Pussy taste like honey comb / Your bro be touching 12 year olds,” Cardi fired back, before adding in another tweet, “Damn she was streaming ‘Magnet’ hard as hell huh??”
Responding to Nicki’s jabs about her sales, Cardi continued, “It’s not the gag that you think it is.. You been in the game like 16 years.. You need to compare yourself to YOUR peers that started around YOUR time.
Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Drake… those are the numbers you need to be competing wit and you can’t cuz you doing lower than all of them… I was in high school when you came out wtf is you comparing yourself to me for???”
Cardi also clapped back at the Harajuku Barbie for mocking her pregnancy with her fourth child — her first with Stefon Diggs.
“Like you wasn’t going to different fertility doctors cuz you couldn’t reproduce from all them percs scrambling your eggs. NOT ALLEGEDLY … Lord protect my babies,” Cardi tweeted.
The feud spiraled even further as both rappers began trading memes, posting shots of Barney and pink wigs to clown each other online.
From the sidelines, Ice Spice chimed in with a playful “tee-hee” emoji combo, while JT dove straight into the chaos.
“Lol that bitch home ugly & mad no celebration!” JT tweeted about Cardi, adding crying-face emojis. “I would’ve been break dancing right now if I was #1 but she know she lied!!!!!”
Just last week, JT fired back at Cardi’s “Magnet” diss, saying she’d “gonna need Jesus to help her.” The Cinderella City rapper also dragged Bardi as a “dirty non talented rat” and clowned her $4.99 album, comparing the price to a “hot dog.”
On the track, Cardi didn’t hold back either, calling the City Girl a “hating-ass bitch” and an “ungrateful ass bitch.”
“Fake friend-ass bitch (Huh), a clown-ass bitch (Shh),” she spits. “On the ‘net, kick your friend while she down-ass bitch (Ah) / Your loyalty depends who you around-ass bitch, Backdoor ho, hatin’ on the low-ass bitch / You a shady-ass bitch, you’ve been trash since birth.”
