Latto has finally made it official—she and 21 Savage are an item.
The Sugar Honey Iced Tea rapper confirmed the relationship while speaking with TMZ on Monday (Sept. 29), casually revealing she was on her way “to go have this dinner with my husband” in New York City.
When a photographer asked if she was tired of being questioned about “you-know-who,” Latto clarified that she was indeed talking about 21 Savage. “No,” she said before bursting out with, “My man, my man, my man, my man.”
Rumors about the pair have swirled since December 2020, though they’ve mostly kept things private. In March 2022, Latto dropped “Wheelie” featuring 21 Savage, just days after her smash “Big Energy” hit the Billboard Hot 100’s top 20.
Later that year, Savage brushed off speculation during a Clubhouse chat, insisting, “I don’t got a celebrity girlfriend.” But fans weren’t convinced, especially after spotting a tattoo behind Latto’s ear that seemed to spell out “Shéyaa,” Savage’s real name, Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph.
In May 2023, Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee claimed Latto’s team reached out asking him to delete a photo of the tattoo he posted—going as far as allegedly offering money. Lee refused, and said Latto’s silence at the time may have been tied to Savage’s rumored marital status in connection to his immigration case.
Even as recently as August 2024, Latto played coy, telling Apple Music’s Ebro Darden: “The internet don’t know a got-damn thing. Let’s start there. It ain’t really nobody’s business. Like, listen to the music and you’ll know what you need to know.”
Now, with her public declaration, there’s no more guessing—Latto is proudly claiming 21 Savage as hers.
