50 Cent seems to have gotten a surprise co-sign from Taylor Swift.
With the release of her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl on Friday (Oct. 3), fans noticed a nod to the Queens rap legend on the track “Ruin the Friendship.”
Swift sings in the second chorus:
“And it was not an invitation / But as the 50 Cеnt song played (Song played) / Should’ve kissed you anyway (Anyway).”
The shoutout had fans buzzing, putting Fif’s name right in the middle of Swift’s new era.
A Taylor Swift shout-out doesn’t come around often, and 50 Cent made sure to let everyone know he was feeling it.
Just hours after The Life of a Showgirl dropped, the G-Unit mogul hit X to celebrate his name-check on “Ruin the Friendship.”
“@taylorswift13 shit is popping right now, she shout me out, she don’t shout you out. LOL,” he posted. “THIS IS FOR BIG TIMERS ONLY! wait I’m the only shout out on the whole album. http://gunitbrands.com.”
Fif made it clear—when Taylor Swift calls your name, you’re in rare company.

Nicki Minaj wasted no time showing her love for Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl.
Just hours after the album dropped, Nicki hit X with a string of posts celebrating the project.
“And now… The sagittarius lashing spree culminates with The Life of a Showgirl. Oh Taylor #Wood was EXACTLY what I needed tonight. Thank You,” she wrote, giving props to “Wood,” Swift’s steamy love song about fiancé Travis Kelce.
Nicki then zeroed in on a buzzed-about lyric from “Actually Romantic” — the one fans think might be aimed at Charli XCX.
“Taylor said ‘I heard you called me boring Barbie when the coke’s got your brain,’” Nicki posted. “Why all the SAG’s giving out lashings tonight? Oh wow. And #Cancelled is diabolical. Let’s go TAYLOR!!!!!! … GO IN FOR THE KILL, TAYLOR. LET’S GO!!!!”
In another post, she playfully compared Swift’s sharp lyrical digs to rap beef.
“The fact that Taylor is a battle rapper is sending me,” Nicki wrote.
