Adin Ross is having second thoughts about diving into politics—and he’s making it clear that he regrets ever getting involved.
During a recent livestream, the streamer reflected on his past support for President Donald Trump, admitting that politics wasn’t something he should have touched.
“Now that I look back on it, I really, really wish I never got into politics,” Ross said. “So many people just tie me to it, and no matter what, they don’t even get to know who I am. I don’t think I’ll ever care enough again for any other politician. At the end of the day, we’re all humans. That stuff is just way out of pocket.”
Ross’s connection to Trump—which included gifting him a Tesla and featuring the former president on his platform—has continued to follow him, even as he’s tried to move on.
He’s not the only creator walking back his political ties. Comedian Andrew Schulz, who once hosted Trump on his Flagrant podcast, recently criticized him for “doing the exact opposite” of what he promised during his campaign.
Podcast giant Joe Rogan has also voiced disappointment with Trump’s policies, particularly over issues like foreign affairs and government spending. Meanwhile, Theo Von, another podcaster who interviewed Trump, has worked to distance himself completely from the political fallout, even requesting that the government stop using his image in promotional materials without consent.
