Eem Triplin Playfully Says SZA Blocked Him Following a Fake “Dating” Post from a Parody Account Daily Noud

Daily Noud is at it again.

On Friday, Oct. 3, the viral parody account posted on X, “Eem Triplin and SZA are reportedly dating.” For those who don’t know, the account is known for its fake, news-style posts that mix the ridiculous with the hilarious—and this latest one, complete with an Instagram screenshot, was no different.

A short while later, Triplin joined in on the fun, responding to the Daily Noud post with a joke of his own, claiming SZA had already blocked him.

“It was good while it lasted,” he wrote, adding that the five-time Grammy winner “would sound so good” on one of his tracks.

Fans were quick to question whether Triplin’s supposed screenshot was real, pointing out that the blocking layout on X—formerly known as Twitter—didn’t match the current format. Meanwhile, the Daily Noud team kept the joke going, playfully issuing an apology.

All jokes aside, this isn’t the first time people have mistaken parody posts for real news. Back in 2022, Stephen A. Smith seemingly fell for a fake report from the obviously named Ballsack Sports account.

Parody accounts have been around for years, often catching the attention of celebrities who end up being the butt of their jokes. More recently, Young Thug reacted to one of Daily Noud’s posts that used his photo in a story about pufferfish, asking, “Wtf this gotta do with me?”
