Keith Powers and Ryan Destiny are officially engaged!
The 33-year-old Straight Outta Compton star and the 30-year-old Star actress shared the big news in a joint Instagram post on Sunday (Oct. 5).
“Engaged to the love of my life,” the post read, showing off Destiny’s stunning engagement ring.
The pair, who first dated from 2017 to 2022, found their way back to each other in 2023.
Speaking to People at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, Powers opened up about their bond, saying they “genuinely are best friends” and feel like “family.”
“I think partnership really works when you really do look at your partner [the way you would look at] siblings, in a way,” he explained. “We could fight, not talk for a bit, but we always come back. We love each other.”
He added, “We’re so in sync—we get each other’s jokes, and everything just flows. She’s taught me so much and made me a better artist. It’s been amazing.”
Destiny also gushed about their relationship during the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards earlier this year, confirming they were back together.
“I just love him so much and appreciate him every step of the way,” she said. “He’s such a cheerleader for me, as I am for him. We’re more than best friends.”
